1- Definition:
The pump core is the central driving system of a lotion pump. It’s a precision component that uses a mechanical structure to generate negative/positive pressure, enabling the metered dispensing of liquid and ensuring sealed preservation.
It’s technical foundation is the integration of spring mechanics, fluid dynamics, and tribology design in an 8-25mm diameter space,It must also resolve compatibility issues between glass, 금속, 플라스틱, and the contained liquid.
A qualified pump core is required to withstand ≥ 5,000 presses (International Standard ISO 22718)

2- Working principle of the pump core:
1)- Pressing Down
- During depression, the actuator head forces the piston rod down, causing the main spring to compress.
- The piston seal ring then isolates the storage chamber from the atmospheric vent.
2)- Vacuum Action
- The piston’s downward movement expands the pump cavity, resulting in lower internal air pressure compared to the bottle’s internal air pressure.
- The liquid inside the bottle pushes open the bottom valve ball and enters the pump chamber
3)- Liquid Discharge
- Upon release,the main spring returns,pushing the piston upward.
- The Bottom valve ball closes, and the pump chamber volume decreases, creating positive pressure.
- The liquid pushes open the piston valve and is dispensed from the nozzle.
4)- Reset & Sealing
- Upon piston return, the auxiliary spring actuates the seal to close.
- This creates a barrier between the pump cavity and the external environment, guarding against oxidation and evaporation.
